Remmert Wielinga

Dutch-born Remmert is a former professional cyclist who has competed in numerous international races, including the famed Tour de France.
He began cycling at the age of 12 and in 1999 he won the Dutch national time trial. The following year he joined the Rabobank Continental Team and repeated the victory. In 2001 he signed his first professional contract with the Italian team De Nardi-Pasta Montegrappa, where he learned revolutionary techniques on effective physical training and conditioning. He went on to race for Rabobank, Quick-Step, Sauntier Duval, and Katusha, where he competed side-by-side with world-renowned cyclists.
Remmert runs his company, Cycling Promotions, which provides specialist personal coaching, from his base in Monaco.
